DIY: Face-masks for oily and combination skin.
Face mask is an essential step of skin care routine. It provides extra nourishment to our skin, providing all the essential elements, and makes up for the weekly damage to skin.
Face-mask shall be chosen on basis of whats required by your specific skin type.

Oily skin is usually porous and acne prone. So any mask made for oily skin must have properties to remove oil and reduce oil production, closes pores and all the while maintaining pH and make it tight.
Here are a few DIY's I'd recommend for an oily and combination skin:
#1 Gram Flour & Milk:
Ingredients:
- Gram flour 1Tbsp
- Milk 2tsp
- Lemon 1-2 drops
- turmeric 1/2 tsp
Directions:
- Mix the ingredients.
- Apply.
- Leave for 5 minutes.
- Wash it of with water.
- Pat dry.
Follow with a good toner, serum and moisturizer.
Benefits:
- Gram flour helps absorbing excess oil, reduce dark spots and blemishes, also acts as an exfoliant.
- Milk tightens the skin and reduces dark spots, blemishes and hyper-pigmentation. It gives skin a healthy glow.
- Lemon helps removing excess oil, deep cleansing the pores.(do not add a lot of lemon juice as acid or it may alter your skin pH)
- Turmeric fights off acne and acne scars and helps reduce blemishes.
All in all a real good mask for oily and combination skin. people wih sensitive skins must do a skin patch test as putting lemon on might not be the best idea.
#2 Cucumber & Yogurt:
Ingredients:
- Cucumber 1/4
- Yogurt 1 tsp
Directions:
- Blend the ingredients together.
- Apply.

Ideal for oily and combination sensitive skin.
